DKSH enters new partnership with Wuxi NEST Biotechnology

DKSH Business Unit Technology has begun a new partnership with Wuxi NEST Biotechnology, a manufacturer of plastic laboratory products in Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

DKSH will provide sales, marketing, and after-sales services in these seven markets while promoting Wuxi NEST Biotechnology’s wide range of plastic consumables to industries including academic and research, biopharma, biotech, and testing labs.

Frank Liu, sales manager for Overseas at Wuxi Nest Biotechnology said, “DKSH offers great market coverage in Southeast Asia and has a strong focus in the life sciences segment. We believe that DKSH is the right partner to help us expand the business, penetrate the cell culture market, and meet our growth goals.”

Wuxi Nest Biotechnology has launched over 200 plastic consumable products for cell culture, molecular biology, immunoassays, liquid handling, and storage. With strictly controlled ISO 8 grade clean rooms, manufacturing standards, and rigid QA procedures, their products enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide.

The new partnership is expected to enable DKSH to expand its life sciences portfolio and accelerate its growth in the consumable business.

DKSH has been continuously expanding its partnerships in Vietnam and the region. Earlier, it signed a number of partnership agreements. They include Printers Supply Company, Skalar, Leica Microsystems, Micro-LAM, and high-performance wind turbine group FlowGen. More tie-ups are expected in the months to come.

DKSH posted strong full-year 2021 results. Net sales grew by 5.4 per cent at constant exchange rates, and free cash flow increased by double digits.
