CPFoods launches first Chickita restaurant in the north

On September 22, Montri Suwanposri, C.P. Vietnam's CEO and president, attended the launch ceremony at Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi.

Other guests included Praween Wirotpan, chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, Oranus Watthayanon, minister counsellor of the Thai Embassy in Vietnam, Wirat Wongpornpakdee, senior vice president of C.P. Vietnam, and Asif Haneef Mehrudeen, founder of the Chickita brand.

Chickita boasts flame-grilled chicken with eight unique Asian sauces and special recipes. The chicken comes from C.P. Vietnam's farms and retains the natural smoky flavour of grilled chicken. The restaurant operates on the from-farm-to-table philosophy, bringing attractive dishes to diners.

Mehrudeen highlighted that the restaurant's outstanding feature is that all the chickens are raised and running in the gardens in Binh Phuoc province without the use of any growth stimulants.

"Therefore, the chicken has a higher protein content, is moderately sized at 1.1-1.2kg, and the meat is whiter than other industrial chicken," Mehrudeen said.

Chickita only uses fresh chicken every day, without ever being frozen. It is flame-grilled in a secret recipe, maintaining its delicious flavour without becoming greasy. Eight sauces are provided to cater to the taste of visitors and Vietnamese alike.

"We hope that Chickita will be a favourite destination for those who are passionate about exploring cuisine from around the world," Mehrudeen said.

Chickita will be developed not only in Vietnam but also in other countries such as Singapore (on December).

CPFoods owns 83 per cent of Dzine Food Solutions, which is developing Chickita, Veganizta, and Vit Quay Than Hong (ember-roasted duck).
