CPV suppliers potential development conference 2023

This is an annual activity held by the Assessment and Suppliers Development Office to enhance the competitive capability and to develop the supply source sustainability of CPV.

The conference was attended by more than 50 suppliers, who are extremely crucial partners of the company. Chamnan Wangakkarangkul – executive vice president of CPV gave a speech and shared the C.P. Group’s general development direction at the conference.

He highly appreciated the role of suppliers and said that long-term and sustainable success should be built based on social and environmental responsibilities during the cooperation of CPV and suppliers.

Over the last 30 years of establishment and development, CPV has been paying attention to sustainable development and environmental protection, as well as carrying out a lot of corporate social responsibility activities.

So, the company often looks for and shakes hands with partners that have the same goals and way of doing to scale up the environmentally friendly supply chain.

During the conference, the representative of the Sustainable Development Office presented the topic “Climate change and food security in the supply chain” and the representative of the Assessment – Supply Source Development Office of CPV also presented the topic “Greenhouse gas emissions management method.”

This year’s conference was also the event to honour the notable suppliers of CPV in 2023 that had initiated the programme of climate change, environmental protection, and greenhouse gas emission mitigation as well as jointly carrying out noble and meaningful activities for society and the environment.

The “Suppliers potential development conference 2023” was carried out successfully and wonderfully. This was considered a succeeding step in strengthening the long-term relationship between C.P. Vietnam and CPV’s suppliers.
