C.P. Vietnam received a certificate and medal at the Red Journey 2023 summary conference on July 30 in Hanoi.
Representatives of C.P. Vietnam included senior vice president Chinoros Benjachavakul and other volunteers who received the award for their outstanding achievements contributing to Red Journey 2023.
The drive has ended after two months with 308 blood donation points, receiving over 120,000 blood units. Across the S-shaped strip of land, from Bac Lieu to Hanoi, each stop collected hundreds of litres of blood that will be used to save hundreds of patients. Over 11 years, 810,000 units of blood have been donated to the national blood bank.
As a sponsor that has accompanied Red Journey for many years, C.P. Vietnam has presented uniforms, communication materials, and gifts of the company's products. Numerous C.P. Vietnam volunteers have participated by giving blood and supporting the organisation in Bac Lieu, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Binh Dinh, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.
With the slogan Connecting Vietnamese blood, Red Journey has saved hundreds of millions of lives over the last 11 years, making an important contribution to overcoming the nation's shortage of blood. C.P. Vietnam is proud to contribute and share the spirit of kindness and love to all provinces and cities.
With many staff members working across the country, the company's community activities receive warm support as the culture of C.P. Vietnam is spread to all areas.
The company has also established the C.P. Vietnam Charity Fund, a food bank project providing thousands of meals to the poor, the Joint Houses project that donated money or built houses for company employees and disadvantaged people, and a shelter building project for cancer patients at K Hospital, among others.
