Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has appointed Nguyen Thi Lien Huong as the new Deputy Minister of Health.

The government leader signed Decision No.658/QD-TTg on the appointment on May 31.

The new deputy minister of health is the former head of the Health Environment Management Agency under the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Huong was born in 1973 in the northern province of Hung Yen.

With the new appointment, the MoH now has four deputy ministers namely Nguyen Truong Son, Do Xuan Tuyen, Tran Van Thuan, and Nguyen Thi Lien Huong.
