David Ippersiel has been appointed as the new general manager at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort. A veteran of Marriott International for nearly 20 years, Ippersiel's competence in sales, marketing, and operations is the perfect combination to increase the resort's market share in both the leisure and corporate sectors.

Ippersiel arrives as a general manager with 18 years of experience in hospitality with Marriott International. He began his career back in 1998 at the JW Marriott Dubai as director of sales before being promoted to director of sales and marketing at Renaissance Dubai in 2000.

In 2013, Ippersiel was appointed as general manager of the Renaissance Tlemcen in Algeria. He was given the opportunity to open the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach in 2015 and his most recent position before joining the family of Sheraton Grand Danang Resort was as cluster general manager for both of the Sheraton Resorts in Hua Hin.

Perfectly situated on the world-famous Non Nuoc Beach, Sheraton Grand Danang Resort is an expansive luxury resort offering 270 guest rooms and suites – each with a view of the ocean or infinity pool.

The resort offers six signature restaurants and bars featuring a variety of local and international cuisines, along with an impressive selection of guest amenities and activities including a 250-meter-long infinity pool – the longest in Vietnam - which overlooks the sea and the Shine Spa for Sheraton – Sheraton’s signature full-service spa.
