C.P. Vietnam praised for work in high-tech agriculture

C.P. Vietnam (CPV) has been named in the top 10 most prestigious high-tech agricultural companies in 2024 by Vietnam Report.

Senior vice president Sakchai Chatchaisopon received the certificate from the event organiser on August 2.

Since arriving in Vietnam in 1988 and establishing its first factory in 1993, CPV has been steadfast in its goal of developing high-tech agriculture in Vietnam.

In that time, the company has gradually linked up with and supported farmers to change their farming habits, shifting from small-scale production to industrial farming. Besides this, the company has transferred closed-loop farming technology in the feed-farm-food (3F) chain model and then upgraded to 3F Plus by expanding and perfecting the traceability process as well as utilising sustainable development activities towards developing a green, circular, and digital economy.

Inheriting the achievements of C.P. Group in Thailand, the application of technology such as AI and big data in all aspects has been considered a key factor in improving productivity and product quality, as well as enhancing competitiveness, safety, and reasonable prices.

Along with other enterprises honoured at the event, CPV will continue to maintain and promote its strengths and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in Vietnam.

Since 2012, Vietnam Report has conducted research and published enterprise rankings across key economic sectors. In 2024, for the first time, it expanded its research to include high-tech agriculture to recognise and honour the core elements that create breakthroughs in the high-tech revolution of the sector.

CPV positions for global reach

Foreign-invested livestock company C.P. Vietnam is eager to foster export activities, contributing to positioning the country on the global map of branded meat exports, especially poultry products.

CP Binh Duong receives TPM award

Following two rounds of evaluation in June and December last year, C.P. Vietnam's (CPV) Binh Duong feed factory was named in last month's TPM Excellent Awards by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) with the award being given to the company on stage at the TPM Awards in Kyoto on March 20.

The C.P. Vietnam Corporation (CPV) consistently highlights the significance of environmental protection in line with C.P. Group's strategic aimed of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
