At the ceremony, Pham Quang Ngoc, Chairman of Ninh Binh People’s Committee, said, "Since Trang An Landscape Complex has been recognised as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site, Ninh Binh has channelled its resources to implement a master plan and issued policies that have helped manage and preserve the site. We have implemented a development model combining heritage restoration and conservation with green and sustainable growth."

In his keynote address, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang described the Trang An Landscape Complex as, "a special highlight of the region and a bridge between the past and present."

"Trang An Landscape Complex has played a key role in contributing to the socioeconomic development of the region while promoting conservation and the values of heritage," DPM Quang added.

Following UNESCO's recognition in 2014, Trang An Landscape Complex is now considered by many to be an exemplary model of how to balance economic development with sustainable tourism that protects the local environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Simona Mirela Miculescu, president of the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO, said, "This ceremony marks a decade of global recognition of the immense value of this natural and cultural treasure. It is also an occasion to celebrate Trang An's unparalleled excellence in both heritage conservation and sustainable development."

She also recognised the tireless dedication of Vietnam's leaders, its passionate conservationists, diligent landscape managers, and vibrant communities who have contributed to the conservation and sustainable development of the site.
