SME100 Asia is the region's most distinguished award for SMEs. The award is presented annually in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and this was the second time it also took place in Vietnam in 2021.

The award recognises companies’ accomplishments over the course of a year. This year, 612 companies were nominated in Vietnam, yet only 32 were chosen as winners.

The winners have to go through a multi-step evaluation process according to international standards, including qualitative and quantitative assessments, a mandatory interview with a representative from the judging panel about the company’s development, its ability for adaption, and more before being chosen as a winner.
