Typhoon Yagi caused widespread damage to many northern locations. In addition to the tragic loss of life, millions of families have suffered damage to their homes and property, agricultural devastation, and significant infrastructure destruction.
Several localities of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, and Haiphong were among the hardest hit, facing severe flash floods and landslides, making recovery efforts and helping residents rebuild their lives after the disaster a top priority for the public and private sectors.
Trinh Thi Van Giang, director of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at Pernod Ricard Vietnam, and Timo Fell, the company's finance director, expressed their concern and desire to assist people in the Northern region in rebuilding their lives and recovering from the disaster.

"Supporting the northern localities in these challenging times is an integral part of our commitment. With responsibility and compassion, we hope that this support will help people overcome immediate difficulties and assist them in restoring their lives," said Giang.
The cash donation will be distributed to the most affected localities in Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, and Haiphong, with the relief efforts carried out by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Red Cross.

Pernod Ricard Vietnam also announced that it will continue to play an active role in community support initiatives such as disaster relief, environmental protection, and raising awareness of social responsibility through various long-term projects aimed at promoting the country’s sustainable development.
