APEA 2023 is aiming to use its influential platform to accelerate economic resurgence in Vietnam by encouraging businesses to take advantage of Asia’s post-pandemic recovery and view it as an opportune time for expansion. Organised annually by regional NGO Enterprise Asia and covering 16 markets, the event presents Asia's largest award networking platform.
The award recipients have been selected from over 300 nominees through a rigorous evaluation process by a jury of prominent judges across four categories; Master Entrepreneur, Inspirational Brand, Fast Enterprise, and Corporate Excellence.
Since 2007, the Awards have taken place across the region, with past recipients including TTC Vietnam's Dang Van Thanh and Cuckoo Malaysia's Hoe Kian Choon, among others.

In his welcome address, Fong Chan Onn, chairman of Enterprise Asia said, “In this transformative era, as the world continues to grapple with the repercussions of the global pandemic, the spotlight shines brighter than ever on Vietnam. We find ourselves at a critical juncture, where seizing opportunities in the post-pandemic era is not just a choice but a necessity. It is a call to action that beckons us to embrace cross-border collaboration and innovation as essential tools for progress.”
Among the notable awardees of the Master Entrepreneur category are Tran Hung Huy, chairman of the BOD of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB); Pham Viet Anh, chairman of the BOD of PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation; and Thai Huong, general director of Bac A Commercial Joint-Stock Bank, whose leadership and commitment to driving their respective organisations to success represents the pinnacle of innovation, vision, and relentless determination in the Asian business world.
Further exceptional awardees include Spartronics Vietnam Co., Ltd and NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam in the Fast Enterprise category; BaoViet Life Corporation, Shiseido Cosmetics Vietnam Co., Ltd, and VNG Corporation, who won the Inspirational Brand category; and DatVietVAC Group Holdings, Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam are winners in the Corporate Excellence category.
