Outstanding business leaders and enterprises shining at Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2022 Vietnam Chapter

The awards were presented by Enterprise Asia, a leading regional non-governmental organisation for entrepreneurship.

The award recipients were selected from over 300 nominees through a rigorous evaluation process by a jury of prominent judges across the four categories Master Entrepreneur, Inspirational Brand, Fast Enterprise, and Corporate Excellence.

Fong Chan Onn, chairman of Enterprise Asia noted, “As advocates of entrepreneurship, we believe that entrepreneurship does not only provide a compelling alternative to individuals to secure their livelihood, but also serve as an important catalyst to promote economic resilience. We want to leverage this programme to recognise and honour the dedicated work done by these entrepreneurs who helped to spur economic development in Vietnam.”

Onn said that with a robust growth of 7.5 per cent forecast by the World Bank for 2022, Vietnam is shaping up to be a development success story.

“As Vietnam enters the next phase of growth, it is more critical than ever for businesses and organisations to spur collaboration and innovation to create an entrepreneurial culture that will not only further advance the country’s economy, but also empower the next generation of Vietnam’s entrepreneurs and businesses,” Onn added.

Among the notable awardees are Emin Turan, general manager and country lead of Sanofi-Aventis Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Dinh Duc Thang of Stavian Chemical JSC under the Master Entrepreneur category; Westlake Compounds Vietnam Co., Ltd. under the Fast Enterprise Category; Signify Vietnam Ltd.; and Vespa-Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd. under the Inspirational Brand category, among several others.
