On July 11-12, the 10th Global Blockchain Congress will take place in Hanoi, hosted by Agora Group in collaboration with V2B Labs and D.lion under the auspices of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VCDA).

The congress aims at connecting businesses and promoting the development of blockchain and technology worldwide. Agora Group, a live events and media firm based in the United Arab Emirates, has successfully hosted the event for nine consecutive years.

The conference this year is a bridge to help participating projects successfully raise millions of dollars from investment funds, and this edition is also an opportunity for Vietnam to approach the world’s leading experts in blockchain technology to share the huge resources that countries have worked hard to build.

Apart from the co-host and strategic partners, the event will also see the presence of notable sponsors from all around the world such as Prasaga, PayFOOT, Taroverse, and more, maximising value for all parties involved.

The event is the confluence of the most promising blockchain trends for 2022, with experts in the field discussing initiatives ranging from decentralised finance and gaming to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the metaverse. In particular, it will feature 10 sessions on the most trending topics related to blockchain such as MetaFi, Web3, and NFTs, to name a few.

This exclusive event will welcome more than 100 investors with combined budgets of over $5 billion. Only 20 blockchain startups will be introduced to investors, demonstrating a narrow focus on high quality.

Hadi Malaeb, co-founder and CEO of Agora Group, highlighted why Vietnam was chosen to host the Blockchain Conference, “Vietnam is a market with considerable capacity for blockchain growth and a number of outstanding startup projects.”

Sharing the same opinion with Hadi, other experts highly appreciate that the government has developed multiple supporting policies on digital development and transformation. In addition, Vietnam is highly receptive to new technologies like blockchain, laying the groundwork for firms to go global.

The Global Blockchain Congress has been held nine times in Dubai, gathering over 650 investors and over 200 entrepreneurs. Multiple participating projects have successfully acquired millions of dollars in investment capital, demonstrating the event’s prominence and leadership in the blockchain industry.
