Defining a new standard of innovation
When it comes to innovation, most Vietnamese people will think of Japan or the US – tech giants that have led the science and technology field for years. However, in recent years, Taiwan has made its mark around the world, with remarkable achievements in research and technological development, innovation, and creativity.
According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2017, Taiwan ranked 17th in the Global Innovation Index. According to the International Institute for Management Development, Taiwan is among Asia’s Top 3 when it comes to innovation and ranks 14th out of the 63 most innovative economies in the world, while maintaining a high competitiveness score in science and technology infrastructure.
