With a shared goal of preserving traditional cultural values and promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture for future generations, VECCA, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, signed a three-year MoU with Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam on August 8.
This cooperation aims to preserve and promote the traditional beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year, while spreading the values and significance of these holidays to many generations in the era of integration and development.
To achieve these goals in 2024-2026, Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam and VECCA, will implement activities to promote communication and publicise Vietnamese cultural characteristics through various festivals.
Specifically, Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam will sponsor a Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 event in Ninh Binh province organised by VECCA in September.
Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam plans to create a festive atmosphere with decorations and recreational activities. The event is a meaningful playground for the younger generation to freely explore the diverse colours of the Mid-Autumn Festival, thereby inspiring pride and appreciation for the nation’s traditional cultural values.
Bui Ky Da, deputy director of VECCA said, “We appreciate Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam’s positive contributions to preserving cultural values during traditional ethnic festivals and believe that this cooperation will serve as a driving force to promote communication and widely disseminate these cultural highlights to the people, especially children.”
The MoU marks a significant milestone in the joint efforts of VECCA and businesses to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese festivals. These collaborative activities are expected to rekindle appreciation for traditional cultural values and call on everyone to join hands in preserving their precious heritage for future generations.
