Right after Danang Department of Health called on the community to support doctors, their assistants, and patients at city-based hotels and medical facilities in their fight against the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 100,000 litres of La Vie mineral water have been donated to these units.

Quarantined hospitals (including Danang Hospital, C Hospital, and the Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Hospital) and medical facilities directly participating in COVID-19 treatment in Danang have a tremendous demand for daily essentials, protective gear, and face masks.

Therefore, right after Danang Department of Health called for support from the community, La Vie has quickly responded by donating more than 100,000 littles of La Vie mineral water valued at more than VND600 million ($26,100)

Right from the early morning of July 30, La Vie started bringing La Vie mineral water to quarantined hospitals in Hai Chau district to meet their demand for water as well as supplement the necessary daily minerals for doctors, patients, and other affected people.

This is the continuation of the programme La Vie has launched in this March to support front-liners during the health crisis.

Earlier, in March 2020 when the first COVID-19 infection cases were detected in Vietnam and quarantine centres were set up, La Vie and the business community had quickly scaled up efforts to support people fighting in the front lines against the pandemic, wishing to make practical contributions to overcome the pandemic.

La Vie is one of the pioneer businesses fighting alongside localities in COVID-10 prevention and treatment as well as supporting the community to overcome their newfound challenges.

The company has come up with diverse support programmes with the total value of about VND23 billion ($1 million) so far.

After the social distancing order was lifted in late April, La Vie continued supporting border guard in pandemic prevention activities along the northern border provinces. Simultaneously, in the "new normal" the company has donated more than 1.6 million products valued over VND20 billion ($869,570) to around 12,000 trading establishments across the country that have been affected by COVID-19.
