This annual ceremony also marks the 10-year journey of the Casa Herbalife Programme in the country, through which Herbalife Vietnam has been providing financial support and good nutrition to more than 1,100 children in need.
First launched in Vietnam in 2013 at Dong Tam Social Protection Centre, Casa Herbalife Vietnam has been expanded to seven centres across the country.
Since the beginning of the year, Casa Herbalife Vietnam has provided total grants of more than $738,000 to help improve the daily meals for children who are being nurtured at these centres.
Besides financial support, Herbalife Vietnam has introduced practical programmes such as the Nutrition for Zero Hunger Star scheme and Nutrition Day to help the Casa children learn more about healthy nutrition and develop regular exercise habits.
Herbalife Vietnam's employees and independent members also organise annual activities on special occasions like Lunar New Year, International Children's Day, and Mid-Autumn Festival to help these children live happier lives.
Vu Van Thang, general manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia said, "We're proud and happy that Casa Herbalife Vietnam has been sustained and expanded over the past ten years and made meaningful contributions to improving the lives of thousands of children in need in Vietnam. We attribute this incredible long-term journey to the generosity and kind hearts of our independent members, who are always at the centre of our community support initiatives."
"We are also grateful for the great partnership and support from our Casa Herbalife partners, who have worked closely with us to ensure the children in need access nutritious meals and live healthy lives every day," he added.
