AmCham CSR recognition for Herbalife Vietnam

Herbalife Vietnam receiving its 2022 AmCham CSR Recognition Award

Now in its seventh year, AmCham’s CSR Recognition Award Programme identifies and recognises AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam) member companies that demonstrate an understanding of the links between business operations and society and conduct business in a way that creates long-term economic and social value.

Herbalife Vietnam has been proactive in many community support activities. The company carries out seven Casa Herbalife Vietnam Programmes to provide healthy meals to more than 1,100 children in need at Dong Tam Social Protection Center (Binh Dinh province), Huong Duong Orphanage (Hau Giang), Xa Dan Secondary School (Hanoi), Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Charity Association, Nghe An Social Activities Center, Viet Tri Orphans, Children with Disabilities Protection Center (Phu Tho), and Nguyen Dinh Chieu School (Hanoi).

The company also coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organise a voluntary blood donation day at Herbalife Vietnam’s office in Hanoi. The event received the participation of more than 100 independent members and employees and collected nearly 100 units of blood.

We believe that the more individuals and organisations join hands together to give back to the community, the more of a positive impact we can have on our people and the planet.”

Earlier this year, Herbalife Vietnam supported the Vietnam Olympic Committee to organise four swimming courses to help mitigate drowning risks among Vietnamese children in Cao Bang, Thanh Hoa, Can Tho, and Dak Nong provinces.

Herbalife Vietnam has also been listed in the top 100 sustainable businesses in Vietnam by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry for six consecutive years since 2017.

Herbalife Vietnam supports Xa Dan School to organise Sports and Culture Day Herbalife Vietnam showed its support for Xa Dan School to hold the Sports and Culture Day 2022. Held on April 18, the event was part of the school’s annual agenda to promote healthy living and cultural values among its pupils.
