Herbalife Nutrition celebrates its 13th anniversary in Vietnam |
Having started its operations in Vietnam in 2009, today Herbalife has become one of the 500 largest companies in Vietnam (according to Vietnam Report) and a market leader in the nutrition space.
Regional president for APAC and China at Herbalife Nutrition Stephen Conchie said, “Vietnam is our top market in Asia-Pacific. Our achievements in the country over the past 13 years are thanks to the continuous effort from our dedicated distributors combined with the strong demand for our high-quality nutritional products from increasingly health-conscious consumers.”
“Looking ahead, we are committed to building a lasting presence in Vietnam and nurturing a healthier generation of Vietnamese through the power of good nutrition,” Conchie added.
In conjunction with the company’s 13th anniversary in Vietnam, LA Galaxy – Major League Soccer’s most successful club which has a multi-year nutrition partnership with Herbalife Nutrition – paid a visit to the Ba Chieu Shelter under the Women’s Charity Association of Ho Chi Minh City (WOCA).
The team spent time playing with the children and teaching them fundamental football skills, inspiring them to adopt more active lives. The team also presented WOCA with a $30,000 donation, which will boost nutrition for the 150 children in its care and enable those who have finished high school to continue their education at colleges and universities.

Herbalife Vietnam's 13th anniversary also marked the launch of a new Casa Herbalife programme at Nguyen Dinh Chieu School in Hanoi – the 7th Casa centre in Vietnam – to help improve daily nutrition for the 176 pupils with vision disabilities with a grant of $15,300.
Since the first Casa Herbalife programme launched in Vietnam in 2013, Herbalife has been partnering with seven charitable organisations in the country to help provide nutritious meals to more than 1,100 children in need with grants totalling over $695,600.
As part of the company’s long-term partnership with the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Herbalife Vietnam joined hands to organise athletic and nutritional training for 50 Vietnamese coaches and athletes on Dec 13.
The training included discussions on nutrition to increase athletic performance conducted by Dana Ryan, director of Sports Performance and Education for Herbalife Nutrition, and rehabilitation for enhancing athletic performance conducted by Adam Waterson, head strength and conditioning at LA Galaxy.
Vu Van Thang, general manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said, “Inviting sports nutrition experts to Vietnam for athletic training is vital. The foundation we have been building for Vietnamese athletes aims to enhance their knowledge of nutrition, and once they understand more about their nutritional needs for different competitions, they can more effectively apply the best approach. We will continue bringing our deep expertise in nutrition to help Vietnamese athletes improve their performance levels.”
