Herbalife Vietnam awards first 30 gold medals of Vietnamese athletes at SEA Games

In addition to providing nutritional food to the top athletes in Vietnam, Herbalife Vietnam also rewards the first 30 gold medals of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the SEA Games 31.

By the end of May 13, the Vietnamese sports delegation led the medal ranking with 26 gold medals, 13 silver medals, and 17 bronze medals.

Thereby, the representative of Herbalife Vietnam awarded prizes to the first gold medalists Le Cong Hoang Hai, Le Duc Dong, Nguyen Thi Thanh Tram, Tran Thuong, Bui Minh Quan, Pham Nguyen Hong Mo, and To Thi Trang in Kurash; the team of Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Nguyen Thi Huyen, and Vuong Thi in the Pencak Silat's women's group boxing; Pham Van Mach and Dang Thanh Tung in weightlifting; Duong Thuy Vi in women's Wushu; and Pham Quoc Khanh in men's Wushu.

On April 28, Herbalife Vietnam accompanied the Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) to organise the departure ceremony for more than 1,000 Vietnamese athletes and coaches to attend the 31st SEA Games to be held in Vietnam during May 12-23, 2022.

Herbalife Vietnam has always been a strong supporter of Vietnamese sports over the past decade. The company sponsored the top 110 athletes in Vietnam with nutritional products for daily use; as well as coordinates with the Vietnam Olympic Committee to organise courses sharing many nutrition and sports knowledge for Vietnamese coaches and athletes.

Tran Van Manh, general secretary of the VOC said, “This valuable support has contributed to the foundation for Vietnamese athletes to improve their fitness and endurance before, during, and after each game. Despite many challenges hit by the pandemic, with the strong direction of the government, especially the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and practical support from businesses and related organisations, I believe that Vietnamese athletes will continue to bring home outstanding achievements at the SEA Games.”
