With the aim of establishing Ho Chi Minh City as a premier regional trade and commerce hub in Southeast Asia, the second Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA ASEAN) will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 on August 27-30.

This event will be held concurrently with the Vietnamese Goods Fair 2024.

VIFA ASEAN 2024 is co-organised by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Ho Chi Minh City branch, Lien Minh Company, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Association, and the Vietnam Association for Building Material. It is also by the Vietnam Coconut Association, Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association, and the Vietnam Investment Construction-Services in Agriculture and Forestry Association.

The event will see participation from VIFA ASEAN Vietnam, KOFURN from South Korea, MFFM from Malaysia, Maison Shanghai, Furniture China Shanghai, and IFFINA from Indonesia.

This global event brings together over 200 exhibitors from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, the US, Italy, Holland, Thailand, and Cambodia, as well as the pavilions of Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Taiwan, showcasing a diverse range of products such as furniture, outdoor furniture, handicrafts and home décor, machine, hardware, tools, and support services.

On display will be diverse renowned furniture brands, including Hiep Long Furniture, Santang Furniture, Fukui Vietnam, Mega Home, Savimex, Latitude Tree, Eurofar International, Wood Concept, Hang Lam Furniture, Fortune Home, Fine Scandinavia, and Lam Duong, among others.

VIFA ASEAN 2024 has received enthusiastic support from domestic and foreign agencies, organisations, trade offices, and economic associations, with the participation of collective booths from departments of Industry and Trade, trade promotion centres, associations, and organisations in Vietnam.

As part of the fair, an industrial seminar “Green-Eco with Net-Zero” will be held on the afternoon of August 27. With speakers from the Forest Stewardship Council and experts in the energy and carbon credit markets, the seminar will provide information on FSC certification and sustainable development goals in the furniture and wood processing value chain, carbon credits and their role in the green economy, and green transition solutions towards net-zero for businesses in the furniture and wood processing industry.
