This app will be available on mobile phones and tablets, offering purchases in a few easy and quick steps and convenient payment methods. With the new application, passengers will be able to check their transaction history and use electronic tickets to board trains (personal identification papers are required).
Together with recent moves to increase the quality of trains by replacing old carriages, the app shows VNR’s efforts to increase service quality, hoping to bring the best possible services for passengers anywhere and any time.
Due to COVID-19 impacts, VNR made a total revenue of VND3 trillion ($130.43 million) in the first half of 2020, 80.6 per cent of the figure from last year, fulfilling 47.4 per cent of the full-year target.

In the second half, the railway giant will focus on increasing its revenue and cargo volume while cutting costs and ensure living conditions for labourers. It aims to gain revenue of VND3.36 trillion ($146.1 million) in the remaining months of this year.
