The fair comprises nearly 600 booths across five main categories: export and investment promotion; electronics, machinery, and supporting industries; digital technology and e-commerce; food and beverage; and national pavilions, and is expected to welcome over 20,000 visitors over the four days.
This year, there are four major national pavilions from China, India, South Korea, and Russian Federation, which demonstrates the appeal of the Vietnamese market in attracting investment and fostering sustainable foreign trade cooperation.
Addressing the event, Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Industry and Trade said, "During the current difficulties in global trade, supply chain interruptions, and declining aggregate demand, trade events like VIETNAM EXPO are necessary to help the business community promote and introduce products to new markets."
"In addition to traditional trade show activities, VIETNAM EXPO will maintain business-to-business connection activities on its online platform," he added.
The Invest in Vietnam Pavilion will continue its mission to foster the development of key industries for the economic development of provinces, cities, and industrial zones across the country.
The Hanoi Promotion Agency remains the highlight of the show, continuing to promote the strengths, potential, and investment policies of the city, and develop business connections with domestic distributors as well as foreign importers in supporting industries.
There are also many high-quality exports and 'One Commune, One Product' items being introduced to consumers nationwide and abroad.
Besides showing the diversity and quality of exhibitors’ products and services, VIETNAM EXPO 2024 will also focus on many activities, seminars, and high-level forums with various discussion topics.
First established in 1991, VIETNAM EXPO is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, directed by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, and organised by VINEXAD JSC.
It is the longest-running annual trade promotion event in Vietnam.
