With an area of 420square metre and the capacity to accommodate up to nearly 100 passengers, the Lotus lounge at Danang International Airport is the fifth facility in the Vietnam Airlines Business Lounge system, which is operated directly by Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd. (VIAGS), a member unit of Vietnam Airlines.
“Along with the Lotus lounge system at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City, Lotus lounge in Danang provides complete and synchronous ground services on par with the four-star standards of Vietnam Airlines in all three regions, as well as affirms the regional leadership of VIAGS and Vietnam Airlines,” said Trinh Ngoc Thanh, deputy general director of Vietnam Airlines at the new Lotus lounge opening ceremony.

Luxuriously designed with modern materials and equipment, synchronised with the Lotus lounge system in Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports, the Lotus lounge in Danang aims to serve members of the Gold Lotus programme with Platinum, Gold, and Business class passengers of Vietnam Airlines and other airlines, mainly from key international markets that have the largest number of tourists to Danang such as Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand.
In the Lotus lounge, guests can experience a wide range of comfort services while they wait for departure, such as buffet foods, bar with a variety of food and beverage options; working room with computer system connected to the internet, printer, scan, fax; other facilities such as massage chair, WiFi, as well as newspapers and magazines, among others.
The introduction of Lotus lounge is one of the activities to compliment on the service quality meeting four-star standards from the ground to the air of Vietnam Airlines. At the same time, this is also an important step for the airline to become the first five-star international airline in Vietnam after 2020.
