Dubai-headquartered PDSI Group is progressing with a vision to build a golf course and service complex in Binh Thuan province at a cost of $2.6 billion.

The information was shared by PDSI chairman Peter Dalkeith Scott at a meeting with Do Huu Thuan, Chairman of Binh Thuan People's Committee, on March 26.

The venture will span 425 hectares from south Phan Thiet city to Thuan Quy town of Ham Thuan Nam district. In the first phase, the complex will cover 180ha and cost around $1 billion.

Besides civil engineering works and golf courses, the complex will feature a hotel, shopping mall, villas, townhouses, high-end apartments, and a condo tower.

In November 2024, PDSI conducted a field survey and expressed its interest in implementing the initiative in this area.

Chairman Huy welcomed the proposal for the locality, which is in line with the province's development orientation.

"If this initiative is realised, it will create significant benefits and boost local tourist and sports activities," Huy said.

Founded in 1989, PDSI Group has implemented major projects across Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Middle East. It has commercial development, investment, and advisory interests spanning infrastructure, real estate, energy, trading, natural resources, commodities, and agriculture.

The group is currently implementing development projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with a total construction value of more than $15 billion.
