The Sinh Con, Sinh Cha workshop in Haiphong facilitated discussions on three practical and topical parenting topics, including making meals enjoyable and nutritious for children, managing parenting anger to avoid hurting children, and making plans to spend quality time with children.
The topics discussed at the workshop were within the programme’s three main content pillars of intelligence, behaviour, and health of children from newborns to six years old.

The workshop was joined by merited artist Xuan Bac – NFVC's goodwill ambassador and the workshop’s facilitator – as well as many of Generali Vietnam’s staff and agents, staff members from the NFVC, representatives from Haiphong Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and members of Hoa Cuc Kindergarten.
At the event, the Italian-backed life insurer handed 250 gift sets to all participating children, 250 programme booklets to their parents and caregivers, as well as 30 special in-cash and in-kind gift sets to 30 local families in extreme hardship.

It has also garnered millions of views, interactions, and positive comments via its sitcom series published on Generali Vietnam’s official Youtube channel, along with the wide-ranging parenting content on its Facebook fanpage and Sinh Con, Sinh Cha parenting community group.
The 12 brand new episodes introduce essential parenting topics such as sugar intake in children’s dietary regime, resolving parenting conflicts, child negligence as a form of abuse, prenatal education, and infant care, among others.
On this occasion, Generali Vietnam also committed to contributing VND100,000 ($4.30) to Sinh Con, Sinh Cha's operating fund for every successfully issued policy of VITA – Cho Con, Generali’s recently launched education-focused investment-linked insurance product.
This year, Sinh Con, Sinh Cha announced the results of the independent impact report for its pilot programme in 2020 and 2021 with an average of 85 per cent of parents surveyed agreeing that the programme helps improve their parenting knowledge and skills for each topic discussed.

Additionally, 97 per cent of the parents have changed their parenting approaches as suggested by the programme and it is also reported to have helped more than 97 per cent of the parents reduce their parenting stress.
In 2021, Generali Group pledged over €1 million ($991,400) to support UNICEF’s Integrated Early Childhood Development Holistic Parenting project, along with the contribution of parenting materials and content from Sinh Con, Sinh Cha.
