Vietnam is flying high on Shinhan Bank's agenda

The bank's fresh locations are part of the bank's expansion initiative, bringing the total number of branches and transaction offices to 43 nationwide.

Que Vo district holds a key role in the socioeconomic development of Bac Ninh. Que Vo Industrial Zone attracts many international investors due to its accessible location at a key transportation hub connecting major economic cities.

Bien Hoa city, located in the country's southern economic region, is an important industrial centre for the country. In recent years though, Bien Hoa city has experienced an increase in the financial services sector.

A representative of Shinhan Bank Vietnam stated, "We have had a challenging year due to the pandemic. Shinhan Bank will continue effective business operations and its long-term commitment to the market through preferential interest rates that benefit clients in the face of these challenges, as well as the bank’s national network expansion. The opening of Que Vo branch and Thong Nhat transaction office enables additional localised access to finance, assistance for clients in financial recovery, and an increase of business through diversified financial products."

Shinhan Bank customer-centric approach strives to meet the financial needs of both individual and business customers. Moreover, the bank focuses on promoting digital banking products and providing comprehensive financial solutions to better serve customers.

Besides Shinhan Bank, several other South Korean financial groups remain keen on expanding their footprint in Vietnam, such as KEB Hana Bank, Korean Development Bank, and Woori Bank, since the country is projected to play a crucial role in the global supply chain.
