In the year 2024, SCG has implemented many meaningful activities to spread the message of kindness and sharing with a view to reducing social inequality.

SCG's efforts to ensure "no one is left behind" are in line with its ESG strategy towards sustainable development.

The group not only carries out meaningful humane programmes for the community but also implements policies for social security and military families.

Over the past three years, SCG has teamed up with the Ho Chi Minh City Command to organise many activities to show the warm and meaningful bond between the military and the people, such as visiting, taking care of, giving New Year wishes, and granting gifts to policy families and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the four districts of Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be, and Can Gio.

The group also donates cement and cash to restore and repair the martyrs' memorial temple in An Phu commune, An Nhon Tay, and Cu Chi district ahead of the Lunar New Year.

​On the occasion of Tet, SCG and the Ho Chi Minh City Command visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, expressing gratitude for their noble sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the nation

The group, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Assistance Centre and Thanh Nien Newspaper, has carried out the "Spring Bus" programme, one of SCG's annual activities, over the past five years.

The programme is part of a series of Tet care activities for disadvantaged pupils, students, and workers in the municipal city.

This year, SCG brought about 2,200 students and workers from the city to the Central and Central Highlands provinces to celebrate Tet, with a total value of VND50 million ($2,049).

In addition, SCG has also awarded 100 gifts worth $1,639 to paediatric patients at District 8 Hospital and other paediatric cancer patients being treated at Thu Duc Hospital.
