NX Engineering Vietnam to build logistics centre in Haiphong

On July 11, Nippon Express Engineering (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., a group company of Nippon Express Holdings, Inc., announced that the company is develop Haiphong Logistics Centre (the second phase).

NX Engineering Vietnam to build logistics centre in Haiphong

Haiphong and its suburbs in northern Vietnam are home to many industrial parks where Japanese and various other foreign manufacturers have set up operations. Thanks to a deep-water international port with easy logistics access to destinations inside and outside Asia, the area also serves as the gateway to northern Vietnam.

Haiphong Logistics Centre run by NX Engineering Vietnam began its first phase of operations in 2015, and the newly constructed the second phase centre is due to be completed at the end of February 2025 and to begin operations in March.

To meet the diverse needs of customers, the logistics centre is equipped with several constant-temperature storage rooms that can be temperature-controlled for the goods stored there, as well as with a sizable air-conditioning system to cope with Vietnam's distinctive high-humidity environment.

This feature allows humidity to be kept below 70 per cent at all times, creating an optimal environment for the storage of medical devices, electronic equipment and other high value-added products that require temperature and humidity control.

Completion of this phase 2 centre will give NX Engineering Vietnam a logistics base with approximately 23,500 square metres of warehouse area, further strengthening its logistics capacity in northern Vietnam.

The NX Group will continue expanding its global logistics network and utilising its extensive logistics expertise to support customers' global supply chains.
