Domestic and international logistics giants will bring their extensive expertise and international reputation to the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2024 (VILOG 2024) from August 1-3 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event aims to bring together key players, innovators, and stakeholders from across the globe under the theme "Green Logistics - the Foundation for Sustainable Development". Companies expected to be involved include JGL Worldwide, from Singapore, DHL from Germany, and Vietnam's ITL and SLP.

VILOG 2024 is set to surpass its previous success with an even larger and more diverse demonstration. In 2023, the event welcomed nearly 25,000 visitors, reflecting its growing prominence in the global logistics arena. The 2024 edition will feature over 400 booths from more than 300 exhibitors representing 20 countries and territories, highlighting its expansive international reach.

The main sectors of the exhibition include transport and forwarding, warehouses and cold chain, material handling, logistics IT and applications, industrial zone and port infrastructure, offering a comprehensive view of the latest advancements and innovations across these critical areas of the logistics industry.

This event is poised to be a significant hub for industry professionals seeking to explore cutting-edge solutions and forge valuable business connections.

Specifically, the transport and forwarding industry promises to be a focal point of the event, attracting a diverse range of approximately 100 exhibitors. This bustling sector will present names such as THACO Industries, Vina Dowell, and ACT Logistics from Vietnam, Transit from Russia, and Nippon Express and Isuzu from Japan, each showcasing their expertise with expansive booths.

Also involved will be Orange Logistics Organisation, WIFFA, and Breakbulk Club, all networking organisations and e-commerce platforms from China.

Noteworthy exhibitors also include ACE Global Logistics from Australia, Chicago Rockford International Airport from the US, Chapman Freeborn Airchartering from Singapore, Translog from Spain, and GOSONIC from Hong Kong, demonstrating a wide series of innovative solutions in air, sea, and land logistics.

The warehouse and cold chain sector will be a standout, focusing on a diverse range of exhibitors showcasing the latest in warehouse and cold chain technology, equipment, and solutions. This sector will include exhibitors such as Tan Phuong Phat, Hoa Phat Shipping, and Nhat Lo Phat 168 from Vietnam, as well as China's Niuli Machinery, and the Taiwan Cold Chain Association.

The event also features key ports and logistics hubs that are crucial to Vietnam's growing trade and transportation sector such as Long An International Port in the Mekong Delta region, Binh Duong Newport, Oknha Mong Port, Saigon Newport, Tan Cang Warehousing Depot, and more besides.

Elsewhere, the logistics IT sector will showcase the latest technological advancements revolutionising the industry. This sector will introduce high-tech solutions and innovations from companies across the globe, with notable participation from Vietnam, the United States, Dubai, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.

The event will also offer a series of expert-led conferences that look into the critical theme of green logistics, designed to facilitate a deeper understanding and promote actionable strategies for sustainable practices within the logistics industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a range of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops, each led by industry leaders and experts.

Besides the seminars, attendees will have the unique opportunity to join a port tour to Long An International Port, offering an on-the-ground perspective of advanced port operations and logistics infrastructure. Additionally, an industrial park tour to COBI Logis Warehouse will showcase state-of-the-art warehouse management systems and sustainable logistics solutions in action.

Additionally, VILOG 2024 will feature a comprehensive business-to-business matchmaking initiative, designed to facilitate meaningful connections and maximise benefits for participants. Participants can expect to forge valuable partnerships, explore new markets, and enhance their industry presence through this meticulously organised and highly beneficial programme.

The event is being co-organised by the Vietnam Logistics Business Association and Vinexad Company with the active support of the Agency of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and is expected to welcome 25,000 visitors over the course of three days.
