The new terminal was inaugurated on May 13 and is located just 57km from Can Tho city, offering excellent accessibility to key construction projects in the Mekong region.
Speaking at the event, Eamon John Ginley, general director said, "With its location, large storage capacity, and the ability to load quickly and accurately, the INSEE cement dispatch terminal in Soc Trang will provide optimal solutions and superior services to customers in the region."
The terminal is expected to supply key projects in the region, such as Can Tho - Hau Giang - Ca Mau Motorway, and Can Tho - Chau Doc - Soc Trang Motorway by leveraging the following advantages:
· Storage capacity: INSEE has four massive silos, each with a capacity of 300 tonnes, bringing total storage to 1,200 tonnes. With two additional 300-tonne silos ready for installation, it can easily scale up storage capacity to meet demand.
· Efficient loading and weighing: A screw bulk loader guarantees speedy loading, while the integrated weighbridge ensures accurate measurements for every dispatch.
· Simultaneous dispatch: Equipped with two dedicated dispatch areas, the terminal boasts a dispatch capacity of approximately 60 tonnes per hour per area. This allows for the efficient loading of two trucks simultaneously.
· Flexible dispatch mode: INSEE specialises in bulk truck dispatch, offering a reliable solution for bulk product transportation needs.
