The VND5 billion ($217,400) project to build a school as part of GyeongGi-Do’s plan to contribute to decreasing poverty in the central province of Phu Yen.

GyeongGi-Do is sponsoring the construction of Hoa Phu Primary School in Phu Yen

Phu Yen People’s Committee has signed an MoU with GyeongGi-Do on cooperating to improve provincial socioeconomic growth with the target to decrease poverty.

Notably, the company will sponsor VND5 billion ($217,400) to build Hoa Phu Primary School in Tay Hoa district.

The construction will be divided into two phases. Phase 1 will include four classrooms and an administrative building. The construction of the first phase will last from November to April next year.

Yang Seung Kyo, representative of GyeongGi-Do said that the school is its first project in Vietnam. Via the commitment in the MoU, the company will cooperate with the province in the fields of economy and society in order to become a comprehensive partner of the province.

Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, vice chairman of Phu Yen People's Committee committed to assigning the People’s Committee of Tay Hoa districts to use the support fund with the correct purpose to create a convenient education environment for pupils in difficult areas.
