Green Christmas – a gift to disadvantaged children

More than 150 disadvantaged children sponsored by social organisations School on Boat, Blue Dragon, Dao’s Care, SOS Children Village, as well as Live and Learn will be the special guests at the Green Christmas symphony concert at the National Academy of Music in Hanoi on December 21.

Coming to Green Christmas, spectators will be able to enjoy a delectable selection of chorus melodies and be transported by the harmony of sounds, the purity of voices, simplicity, happiness, and fantasy.

Green Christmas is also a gift from Gio Xanh members to disadvantaged children who have never once savoured a musical concert at the big stage.

Nearly 100 members aged 6-82 of Gio Xanh will perform Believe, sending the audience a strong belief in life and passion, giving positive energy through You raise me up, the spirit of freedom through Follow the Drinking Gourd, live through a funny moment with Money Money Money, and set sights on a bright world with Look at the World, and enjoy a deep feeling with Silent Night under the guidance of talented conductor Nguyen Hai Yen.

Moreover, Thu Trang singer, artistic adviser of Gio Xanh will perform I dreamed a dream.

With diverse displays at the concert, Green Christmas will be a fantastic journey for young and old.

The concert also closes the first year of Gio Xanh's social activities honouring love and sharing as well as connections among people.
