Intel Products Vietnam opens new care centre

Intel Products Vietnam, the first and largest US investor in the semiconductor industry in Vietnam, put its entertainment and physical care centre into operation at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park on May 9.

The centre is located in an area of ​​1,620 square metres and is meticulously designed according to Intel's philosophy with an array of facilities, including sports rooms, a gym, a creativity and innovation room, a yoga studio, and a multifunctional music room.

Intel built this centre to improve employee health and productivity through a comprehensive range of healthcare and entertainment activities. The project demonstrates Intel's commitment to promoting employee work-life balance, enhancing creativity, and increasing community engagement.

This centre is designed to be sustainable, meeting the prestigious LEED certification, and applies cutting-edge sports science, setting new standards for a fitness centre. The gymnasium is very flexible and can be used for badminton, handball, volleyball, and basketball, as well as many other activities, including yoga, ensuring all Intel employees will have opportunities to exercise physically and mentally.

Intel has already made investments in Vietnam of more than $1.5 billion since 2006 and created around 6,500 jobs in the high-tech sector.

In 2023, the total export value of Intel Products Vietnam reached more than $10.3 billion, contributing to 61 per cent of the export value of Saigon Hi-Tech Park, 23 per cent of the total export value of the city, ​​and 18 per cent of the country's electronics industry export value, excluding mobile phones.

The total cumulative export value of Intel Products Vietnam has so far reached more than $85 billion.
