AB InBev advances responsible beer culture for students

Understanding their social responsibility for future generations, Anheuser-Busch InBev Co., the AB InBev Foundation, and the Budweiser brand have launched a series of “Enjoy responsibly - Don't be drunk and drive” events.

Talking to students, Legal and Corporate Affairs director of AB InBev Vietnam Truong Van Toan said, “Beer drinking can be enjoyed, but there are new laws to be aware of.”

The messages are: If you drink beer, don't drive, only enjoy drinking beer when you are of legal age, and enjoy the unique differences of each beer.

At Hoa Sen University, AB InBev teamed up this month with the Youth Union to launch a debate contest titled "Responsibly Enjoy Because Someone Needs You" to discuss not driving after drinking beer and young people's sense of responsibility.

The event aims to call on Gen Z students to live responsibly for the people they love by making the commitment to not drive after consuming alcohol.

AB InBev is one of the world's largest brewers. The company has brewing operations across 150 countries and 170,000 staff worldwide. It currently owns more than 500 beer brands covering 150 countries.
