AB InBev shines in Vietnam’s Top 10 Beverage Reputation Awards 2022

The award features scientific and objective principles. Companies are evaluated and ranked based on the three main criteria of financial capacity shown in their latest financial statements, media reputation assessed by the media coding method, and a public opinion survey conducted in August 2022.

This October we are once again honoured in Vietnam’s Top 10 Beverage Reputation Awards 2022 for the third consecutive year and we were also hailed as the Most Reliable Brand.”

After more than six years of operation in Vietnam, Belgian-backed AB InBev has always understood promoting a strong environmental, social, and corporate governance programme as an important strategy for building a strong reputation for the future.

In 2021, responsive to the call to create additional financial resources to cover the cost of vaccines, the company contributed 2,000 doses of the COVIVAC vaccine, equivalent to $5,200, with a hope to bring peace to more than 90 million Vietnamese people.

In addition, in November, AB InBev Vietnam joined hands with the Red Cross of Ben Cat town and the Youth Union of Tan Uyen to sponsor scholarships for 47 orphans that resulted from the pandemic.

AB InBev is a global company that specialises in the production and building of beer brands with the aim of a more fun future for the next 100 years and beyond.

AB InBev has accompanied the Voice of the People of Ho Chi Minh City in the column ‘Because someone needs you’ and Binh Phuoc radio station since the fourth quarter of 2021.

In 2022, the company continues to spread this spirit to Gen-Z youth through various communication channels such as collaborating with Ton Duc Thang University and the Foreign Trade University.

In the current context, the transition from a linear to a circular economy is essential for all domestic and foreign businesses.

AB InBev has installed rooftop solar panels covering the VSIP and My Phuoc factory spaces with the goal of using sustainable energy to reduce climate change. AB InBev is currently working with 5Desire to launch the 100+ Labs Programme in Vietnam, which is the first startup support programme from a multinational corporation for sustainable startups.

The programme has helped 70 companies in more than 20 countries address supply chain challenges. In Vietnam, along with the global AB InBev factory system, the Vietnam factory has increased the number of recycled materials in packaging, contributing to an increase in recycling rates around the world and educating consumers about the importance of recycling through the 5S programme in both factories and offices.

This is attested by the fact that AB InBev Vietnam was honoured in the list of 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam from survey results collected in 2021 by Anphabe.
