VIR event to hear expert views on investing for 2025

Vietnam's economic journey for 2024 has almost reached its end, with the world economy gradually recovering despite the numerous risks and uncertainties. Investors need to find ways to adapt, develop, and create new profitable opportunities through varied investment channels.

With that in mind, VIR will host a conference on December 12 with the theme 'Investing 2025: Decoding Variables - Embracing Opportunities' to forecast upcoming economic trends and introduce some of the most interesting investment opportunities for next year.

VIR event to hear expert views on investing for 2025

At the event, reputable economic experts will evaluate existing and potential investment channels and make recommendations for businesses as well as the individual investor. Keynote speeches will be delivered by Luong Van Khoi, vice president of the Central Institute for Economic Management, and Hoang Xuan Trung, head of Corporation Sales and Solutions of Citi Vietnam's Global Markets.

The first panel, themed 'Decoding Variables', will analyse the domestic and international macroeconomic variables seen in 2024 and make predictions for 2025 on monetary and fiscal policies and their impact on the business and investment environment. The panel will include:

  • Nguyen Tri Hieu, general director of Toan Cau Institute
  • Dang Thuy Ha, Consumer & Marketing Insights director, NielsenIQ Vietnam
  • Barry Weisblatt David, head of Research at VNDirect Securities
  • Hoang Quoc Anh, director of GHGInvest
  • Trinh Ha, Financial Market analyst from Exness Investment Bank

The second panel, themed 'Embracing Opportunities', will discuss investment opportunities and asset management by such experts as:

  • Nguyen Van Dinh, chairman of the Vietnam Association of Realtors
  • Thai Viet Dung, commercial director, Exness Investment Bank
  • Le Quang Hung, senior director, Investment Analysis, Techcom Capital
  • Nguyen Viet Duc, head of Digital Business, VPBank Securities
  • Le Duc Khanh, director of Investment Capacity Development, VPS Securities JSC.

The conference will take place at VIR's headquarters, 47 Quan Thanh street in Hanoi's Ba Dinh district, and will be live-streamed at baodautu.vn, vir.com.vn, tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn, and various fan pages.
