On September 14, under the witness of provincial leaders, members of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC), and regional business leaders, Vietnam SuperPort–a joint venture between YCH Group (Singapore) and T&T Group (Vietnam)–hosted the "Envisioning the Future of Vietnam SuperPort" event.
The event featured prominent figures, including Tran Duy Dong, Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee, Jaya Ratnam, Singapore’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Oudet Souvannavong, chairman of ASEAN BAC, Robert Yap, executive chairman of YCH Group, and Nguyen Ngoc Nghi, member of the Board of Directors and deputy general director of T&T Group, among others.

Attendees were introduced to the innovative 'Park within a Park' concept through the Apple Vision Pro, a cutting-edge spatial computer. This VR experience showcased how the integration of road, rail, air, and sea supply chain services into a single logistics hub improves efficiency and connectivity. This approach positions Vietnam SuperPort as a key player in the regional logistics landscape.
Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort, shared the new vision and development plans for Southeast Asia’s first SuperPort.
“By leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative logistics solutions, we are enhancing the flow of goods across the region and setting a new standard for sustainable, future-ready logistics ports. Vietnam SuperPort is well-positioned to drive Vietnam’s economic growth and strengthen regional ties through world-class infrastructure," he said.
Strategically located along the Northern Economic Corridor, Vietnam SuperPort connects 20 industrial parks to major seaports and airports, including Haiphong and Noi Bai, extending its reach to Yunnan and Kunming in China. Vietnam SuperPort leverages YCH Group’s nearly 70 years of logistics experience, benefiting from connections to global supply centres across Asia, including China, India, and Southeast Asia.

"In alignment with Vietnam’s commitment to net-zero by 2050, Vietnam SuperPort has embedded advanced sustainability solutions into its core operations. We are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040, strengthening Vietnam’s leadership in sustainable development," Yap said.
Vietnam SuperPort's roadmap to achieving net-zero includes assessing current emissions, upgrading infrastructure with AI and Internet of Things technologies, adopting renewable energy systems, and transitioning to an electric fleet by 2030. Residual emissions will be offset through the purchase of renewable energy credits and carbon offsets.

The port is also committed to developing a highly skilled workforce. In collaboration with YCH Group and the Singapore Supply Chain and Logistics Academy, it will train 500 next-generation logistics professionals through a nine-month talent development programme in Singapore. This initiative aims to prepare Vietnam’s workforce to meet the growing demand for high-quality, tech-savvy talent in logistics, as the country continues to develop as a key electronics manufacturing and research and development hub.
