From September 12-16, 10 sets of works and winning entries of the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards - Heritage Journey 2024 will be showcased at 93 Dinh Tien Hoang street in Hanoi.
2024 marks the 10th year of the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards - Heritage Journey.
The competition has received entries from 156 authors nationwide, with 411 sets of photos submitted, more than double last year.
The winning works have received gold, silver, and bronze medals from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The exhibition also features 30 works from photo tours in Ha Giang (February) and Thai Nguyen (June), created as part of field trips co-organised by Heritage, Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Land Rover Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony on September 12, Le Hoang Dung, head of the organising committee and editor-in-chief of Heritage magazine, said, “Over the past 10 years, the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards has been recognised for its high professional quality, with a judging panel from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and broad participation. The awards also serve as a favourable channel to promote Vietnam's image and enhance standards in photojournalism.”

Dung also announced that during the exhibition, the magazine would also hold a charity auction themed “Photos Conveying Love”. Proceeds from the auction will be sent to northern provinces that are recovering from Typhoon Yagi.
Dung added, “In light of these tragic events, we want to contribute, even in a small way, to support those affected by natural disasters. I urge photographers, artists, and Heritage collaborators to join us in this effort. Together, let’s help restore the north of our country, including Hanoi, Ha Giang, and Thai Nguyen, to the beauty we’ve captured in our images over the years.”
