The winners include 22 outstanding digital products, solutions and services; nine businesses; and seven state agencies.

The 38 were selected in four categories. They include 20 winners in the category of excellent digital products, services, and solutions; nine winners in the category of excellent businesses and units; seven winners in the category of excellent state-owned agencies for digital transformation; and two others in the category of digital transformation products and solutions for the community.
Nguyen Minh Hong, chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) who is also head of the VDA 2023 Organising Board said, “The awards are an important activity of the VDCA, contributing to implementing the Party and government's policies on developing science, technology and innovation, promoting national digital transformation, building a digital government, as well as developing digital economy and digital society.”
Addressing the event, Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science and Technology said, “During this year's judging process, the Final Council focused on evaluating data technologies, data platforms, as well as businesses and localities that do well in building databases in line with the standards of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC).
"We realise that many organisations and individuals have paid great attention to building databases scientifically, meeting Vietnamese standards and improving the ability to integrate into the national database,” he added.
According to Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, data is an important factor in development, creating a breakthrough in digital transformation and developing the digital economy.
The Vietnam Digital Awards is an annual event chaired by the VDCA under the auspices of the MIC.
Launched in April 18, VDA 2023 approached more than 3,000 state agencies, organisations, and businesses and received nearly 350 applicant documents nationwide.
