As the first international office of Thailand’s leading beverage corporation, TCP Group, TCP Vietnam remains steadfast in its mission to make positive contributions to Vietnamese youth, the community, and the environment through meaningful and sustainable initiatives.

TCP Vietnam's activities are built upon the group's three core strategies: Fulfilling - Growing - Caring. Last year saw TCP Vietnam's continuous efforts to create and spread positive values while aiming for a sustainable future.

Red Bull and Warrior, two brands under TCP Vietnam, made significant strides in 2024. Red Bull began the year aiming for a younger, more dynamic image by encouraging young people to pursue their dreams and ambitions.

To spread this message, Red Bull launched a series of exciting activities that generated strong buzz in the community. In April, the Drone Show series in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Hanoi attracted widespread attention from audiences across the country. Additionally, the Huc Fest music night in Hanoi in June brought an explosive energy to over 18,500 participants. Alongside this, the Huc Tour journey, which spanned Haiphong, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City, attracted 30,000 participants in September.

Alongside this, the energy drink brand Warrior also made a shift to connect with Gen Z by continuing its partnership with the Vietnam National Union of Students to organise the Vietnam University Games (VUG), attracting more than 10,000 gamers and 800,000 supporters. For two consecutive years, VUG has not only been the largest sports event for students but also a place where passion for sports, unity, and explosive moments converge.

2024 also marked the fifth anniversary of the partnership between TCP Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, with a series of meaningful activities for local communities.

Among these is the Worker Programme series, a tireless two-year effort by TCP Vietnam and Red Bull, in partnership with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Vietnam Young Physicians Association. In addition to receiving free health check-ups, youth workers also participated in fun, recreational, and sports activities, fostering friendship, motivation, and a sense of contribution.

The scheme has attracted the participation of 80,000 youth workers in 12 cities and provinces, such as Danang, Haiphong, Thanh Hoa, Long An, and Can Tho.

Additionally, TCP Vietnam, in partnership with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, has honoured 260 exemplary youth figures and 152 noteworthy young people nationwide over the past five years. From June to October, the 'Light of Vietnam Perseverance' scheme recognised and honoured 38 youth role models with disabilities, continuing to inspire and encourage the younger generation of Vietnam to push forward.

Since September, TCP Vietnam, in collaboration with the Central Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Volunteer Center, has provided quality sports fields for young people, especially in underdeveloped areas with limited infrastructure.

Each project spans at least 1,000 sq.m and is designed to meet the needs for sports activities and social interaction, including football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickleball, and modern outdoor fitness equipment. For example, in Can Tho and Nghe An, old football fields have been upgraded with new grass, new goals, and seating areas for spectators, creating ideal spaces for friendly football matches and physical training. Additionally, the undertaking provides recycling bins to encourage people to collect and sort waste at the source, contributing to environmental protection.

By the end of 2024, nine projects had been handed over to their respective localities, providing ideal spaces to maintain outdoor sports and recreational activities.

These initiatives are not only highly regarded by the community, but also rank among the top 10 key activities of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2019–2024 term, confirming TCP Vietnam's position and commitment to supporting sustainable development for the youth.

Caring for the environment

In response to the prime minister's plan to plant one billion trees, TCP Vietnam, in collaboration with the Center for Environmental Resources and Media, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Youth Union, and the Forest Protection Management Board, launched a tree planting initiative.

In addition to raising awareness, the 'TCP - Journey for a Green Vietnam' scheme aims to improve the forest ecosystem and minimise the impact of climate change by creating conditions for company leaders, employees, and local youth to participate in tree planting, directly contributing to environmental protection.

As of the end of 2024, 2,700 new trees had been planted, with a survival rate of over 95 per cent.

With a series of successful collaborations over the years, TCP Vietnam will continue to strengthen its partnerships with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Central Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Student Association, government agencies, and social organisations to address economic, social, and environmental issues while spreading positive energy.

"We will continue to set lofty goals and are committed to sustainable and long-term development in Vietnam. We will continue to improve our products, build a high-quality workforce, and enhance community activities to create real value for Vietnam's youth. We will also strengthen our collaborations, expand initiatives for sustainable development, and strive to contribute more to Vietnamese society," said Nguyen Quang Hien Huy, managing director of TCP Vietnam.
