"This achievement fills us with so much joy, as we remain committed to delighting our customers with the Starbucks experience and building meaningful connections," said Patricia Marques, general manager of Starbucks Vietnam.
"With Starbucks now operating 100 stores across cities in Vietnam, we thank our partners for their everyday commitment and dedication, which has been vital in getting us to where we are today. Our success is also the result of the trust placed in us by our customers, who have valued and cherished the connections they have made over coffee at Starbucks locations across Vietnam over the last ten years," she shared.
The 100th Starbucks store in Vietnam is located in Lotte Mall West Lake, a new entertainment and shopping complex in Hanoi. The store was designed to pay homage to the beautiful natural environment that nurtures our coffee beans.
Through a carefully selected blue accent colour and a warm material palette, the design seeks to capture the essence of the intertwined connection in nature, creating a distinctive space for customers to relax and enjoy connecting over a cup of coffee. The store opens daily from 7am-10pm and is located at 272 Vo Chi Cong street, Tay Ho district.
As a special tribute to this milestone, and to honour Vietnam's rich coffee heritage, Starbucks Vietnam is proudly bringing back exclusive locally sourced coffee from Vietnam with Starbucks Reserve Vietnam Dung K'No.
This blend is sourced from the Central Highlands of Vietnam in the remote town of Dung K'No, home to the K’Ho people – an indigenous matriarchal community where 82 smallholder farmers work diligently to preserve their cultural traditions while embracing responsible farming practices.
Patricia added, "Being able to serve coffee from Vietnam to our customers here is a special experience that every Starbucks barista in Vietnam cherishes. I can see the pride in our partners when they take the first sip of the Starbucks Reserve Vietnam Dung K'No coffee."
Starbucks Reserve Vietnam Dung K'No is a delicious, smooth coffee featuring a light roast that brings out balanced notes of fresh lemongrass and sweet apricot. It bears the fruits of Dung K'No farmers’ labour to produce exquisite Arabica beans, and showcases the heart of Vietnamese heritage over a rare, intimate coffee experience.
Along with coffee bags, a special gift set comprised of coffee, a Vietnamese coffee filter, and a special Starbucks card is also being offered. The card boasts a design that pays homage to the rich Vietnamese culture. These products are available across all Starbucks stores in Vietnam from September 12 to the end of October.
Starting on September 12, customers in Vietnam can recharge with Starbucks' new Autumn favourites. Shake things up with the new Starbucks Rock Salted Caramel Oat Milk Iced Shaken Espresso, or choose delicious items from the Siren and the Earth collection.
A series of new seasonal Autumn beverages and merchandise items are also being introduced nationwide.
