Some 400 to make shots at Fastee Cup 2019 golf championship

After the elimination round from 45 registered clubs, 34 golf clubs in Hanoi with 408 official and 136 reserve golfers will compete to win the prestigious championship trophy.

The tournament is organised under a team format, the results are a combined score of 12 members’ from the clubs. This is what makes the third Hanoi Golf Club Championship – Fastee Cup 2019 stand out from other golf tournaments in Vietnam which often follow an individual basis.

Compared to the 2018 tournament, this year, Fastee Cup have had some important changes in its rules. Accordingly, players’ handicaps are officially determined based on the Vhandicap system as of September 1, 2019. Along with that, net scores are calculated using official handicaps, without (-2) and (+10).

The tournament will find the best teams and honour them with one First prize, one Second prize, one Third prize and one prize of style. In addition, golfers also have the opportunity to receive many special gifts including a Hole in One prize with a Binh Minh apartment from Cenhomes.

Le Hung Nam, general secretary of the Hanoi Golf Association, director of Fastee Cup 2019, said, “We hope that the third Hanoi Golf Club Championship will be an inspiration, spreading the spirit of solidarity among club members in particular, as well as all golf clubs in Hanoi."

"We are committed to continuing to accompany the Hanoi City Golf Association in the following seasons. There will be more prizes for golfers to have the opportunity to experience and increase the excitement when participating in the tournament,” Nguyen Trung Vu, representative from Fastee, said.

Hanoi Golf Club Championship – Fastee Cup 2019 is expected to create a fair-play tournament and promote humane sporting spirit, connecting golfers and developing golfing as a common sport in Hanoi and Vietnam.
