For over two decades, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers has been a gathering place for global travellers seeking an elevated experience, attracting both guests from far away and locals who live just around the corner. It will continue moving forwards in that direction in the years to come.
General manager Julian Wong said, "Twenty years is a remarkable journey. We could not venture this far without our team of amazing associates. I am genuinely so proud of each one, having put us at the forefront of the hospitality landscape in Ho Chi Minh City. Impressively, we have thirty-eight associates who have been with us since day one and are still going strong with us."
“The key to success starts with our Put People First culture that transcends through to our guests and the community. From 2003 to 2023, we have provided thousands of associates with opportunities to build long-term careers in the hotel industry, combining the vibrant yet charming characteristics of Ho Chi Minh City with world-class Marriott service levels. Heading into the future, we will continue to invest in our people, providing opportunities for them to grow into great leaders at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers,” added Wong.
Throughout the twenty years, the 23-story landmark has been through several cycles of renovations. They span from 2008 with the launch of the Grand Tower wing, to the biggest acquisition in the hotel industry between Marriott and Starwood adding the Sheraton brand to Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, and the multi-million-dollar renovation of the Main Tower guest rooms in 2019 to launch a brand-new stylish design.
Now, with 485 guest rooms and more than 2,200 square metres of meeting space, the hotel prides itself as a distinguished gathering place for all its guests and events.
The twenty years of pursuing excellence have earned Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers several accolades, including, most recently, the 2022 Best City Hotel in Vietnam by Travel & Leisure magazine.
“Our 20th anniversary is a testament to the hotel’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for our guests. All of us at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers are committed to doing our part to drive sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint, and we look forward to setting more milestones in the years ahead," the general manager added.
On the May 7, the hotel hosted a landmark celebration by honouring its most important asset; its long-serving associates.
Wong said, "I'm immensely appreciative and very honoured to head such a great team of associates who continually exhibit diligence, resilience, passion, team play, and the highest levels of integrity. They are the ones who have formed the hotel’s reputation and consolidated its popularity.”
He added, “Each Marriott Bonvoy Elite member who stays with us on May 7 will receive a special gift or join us with an intimate dinner. We would like to cherish this special moment together with our guests.”
To capture the hotel's finest years of hospitality, the 20 Years of Glory room offer has been launched from May 7-27, inviting tourists and locals alike to join in commemorating this 20th anniversary celebration with special treats and a unique experience.
Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers kick-starts its 20th anniversary celebration by providing 20 vouchers in 20 days at 8.20pm every day for exclusive culinary offerings.
This incredible offer, launched though mini-games on social networks, will allow 20 lucky guests to savour Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers’ quintessential dining experiences at one of its four restaurants or bars, or through branded items delivered to their home.
