As the health crisis is threatening the daily lives of people across the country, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Health, the Vietnam Red Cross, and Sendo are jointly conducting the charity campaign to support the community to overcome the challenges.

Sendo is selected to be the official online charity fund of the Vietnam Red Cross, helping to mobilise e-commerce users to beat the outbreak.

The programme also drew the attendance of many brands like Unilever, P&G, Nestlé, Huggies, Kotex, Vifon, Kleen, Novelty, Jockey, Vera, and GUMAC, among others. Specifically, consumers can donate VND20,000, VND50,000, and VND100,000 (87 US cents, $2.20, and $4.35) by various payment methods, including its e-wallet Senpay.

The funds collected will be directly transferred to the Vietnam Red Cross and published on the Sendo platform. Consumers, after making donations, will receive gifts from sponsor partners.

The funds raised will be used to purchase health equipment for doctors and policemen who are in the front lines dealing with the health crisis, as well as infections and infection-suspicious cases isolated at home and at hospital.
