Rockhold said that he looks forward to working with AmCham to further foster and deepen economic, social, and business ties between Vietnam and the US. He said, “It is with great humility that I take on this position to strengthen AmCham as the voice of American business in Vietnam to create a competitive and sustainable business climate for companies and investors here. I look forward to working with my AmCham colleagues to ensure the organisation’s ongoing success.”

Rockhold has been living and working in Vietnam since 1992 and serves as the CEO of Chan May LNG JSC to implement climate change projects and help Vietnam meet its energy security needs.
