With more than 190km of beach and more than 300 sunny days a year, Binh Thuan is always considered an attractive destination on the tourist map of Vietnam.
In recent years, this resort capital has increasingly radiated a strong attraction to tourists, showing its vital role in the southern resort area.
So far, the Binh Thuan tourism infrastructure has operated with just under 600 accommodation projects which are providing a total of around 17,600 rooms. Key transport infrastructure projects are also being built, creating favourable conditions for tourists to visit the province. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved it to host the 2023 National Tourism Year, with the theme of Binh Thuan – Green Convergence.
The attraction of Binh Thuan was proven by the 80,000 visitors who came during the four public holidays from 30 April to May 5, according to data from Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The average occupancy rate for accommodation reached between 80 and 95 per cent. Most tourists were domestic, travelling in private vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, and Hanoi.
One of the events that attracted thousands of visitors was the NovaWorld Summer Festival, taking place in the 1,000-hectare NovaWorld Phan Thiet sea city.

Many unique experiences were organised, such as the music festival with DJs at Miami Bikini Beach Park, where guests enjoyed music and draft beer. Visitors of all ages walked around the colourful festival right at the shophouse area, enjoying a series of activities such as juggling, a cycling circus, bubble clowns, and stilt walking.

The 16-hectare Bikini Beach Park attracted visitors to check in and take amazing photos with hundreds of colourful kites. Sports fans also had the opportunity to take part in various activities such as beach volleyball, windsurfing, and paragliding.
NovaWorld highlighted Phan Thiet as an attractive destination on the international tourist map. Along with its long history and culture bearing the characteristics of the southeast region, infrastructure projects such as Dau Giay-Phan Thiet Highway are being accelerated and expected to be completed this year.
Long Thanh International Airport is expected to come into operation in 2025 and is an important driving force to promote this project to investors.
Choosing to travel for a four-day holiday at NovaWorld Phan Thiet with his family, Che Duan expressed his love for the expansive golf course and diverse facilities for sports tourism including tennis courts and soccer fields. Meanwhile, his wife Phuong Thao was impressed with the amazing amusement parks for children.
"This project has all the facilities that an extended family needs on a vacation. We will definitely spend time here again in the future on holidays and at weekends,” Thao said.
Meanwhile, Tuan Nhan, an investor who was in Phan Thiet during the festival, saw this project as a potential new hotspot that can attract large numbers of tourists.
“This is a good opportunity for investors like me to expand our shophouse portfolio,” Nhan said.
On vacation at NovaWorld Phan Thiet with his family, musician Thanh Tam expressed his love of the pleasant atmosphere of the beach and the fresh air.
On days without events and work, and needing a place to relax and re-energise, Tam usually comes to his house in NovaWorld to enjoy its atmosphere and create a new composition.
With the recovery of tourism and the prosperity of Vietnam's hospitality real estate, NovaWorld Phan Thiet continues to be the centre of attraction for domestic and foreign investors.
