Muong Thanh conducts “Go Green Save Green” strategy

This is an annual campaign organised by Muong Thanh Group to contribute to improving the living environment in the community and spreading good deeds among all employees in the group.

The meaning of the message "Going Green Save Green" is to emphasise the transformation of commitments into practical actions to be implemented in July and August.

The group’s outstanding campaigns this year are the establishment of an Ecoteam for sustainable development activities, and launching the "Thousands of steps for the environment" campaign club to clean up old batteries from the environment, and organisation of a green initiative workshop.

In addition to the campaigns to collect rubbish around hotels, beaches, and public areas, in 2023, Muong Thanh's member hotels will participate in the “Challenge for Change” campaign, which takes before-and-after photos by individuals and groups.

This will be a regular activity to raise each individual's awareness of environmental protection. In addition, the "Thousand Steps for the Environment" club was established to help individuals maintain healthy habits, save fuel, and protect the environment.

Besides this, member hotels of Muong Thanh Group will organise a Green Initiative Workshop by EcoTeam, with the aim of sharing ideas that can be applied in daily work to reduce plastic waste, and save electricity, water, and chemicals, among others.

In a joint effort to conquer climate change and environmental pollution, in recent years hundreds of thousands of trees in many localities across the country, especially at the Muong Thanh Greenland Dien Lam entertainment, tourism and eco-resort complex, have become green shields contributing to overcoming and limiting drought.

Over the years, Muong Thanh Group launched many effective environmental campaigns that generate practical benefits for the community. With a stronger message combining many practical actions, Muong Thanh Group hopes to continue to receive the enthusiastic response and participation of individuals across the country.
