Him Lam Real Estate JSC (Him Lam Land) has donated VND500 million ($20,800) to the 2nd Thu Duc Open Golf Tournament to join hands with the "For the Poor" Fund to support difficult circumstances in Thu Duc city.

Him Lam Real Estate JSC (Him Lam Land) donated VND500 million ($20,800) to the 2^nd Thu Duc Open Golf Tournament to join hands with the "For the Poor" Fund to support poor families, people in difficult and vulnerable circumstances in Thu Duc city.

The 2^nd Thu Duc Open Golf Tournament opened with about 280 competing golfers and many businesses operating in and out of Thu Duc.

With a long history of promoting social responsibility, Him Lam Land has been accompanying humanitarian charity activities with a practical meaning, aiming to spread great values to the community.

The golf tournament has created a healthy playground for businessmen to exercise, interact, exchange and learn from experience. At the same time, it is one of the connecting activities between Thu Duc city government and corporations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in the area.

After more than one month of launching, the 2^ndThu Duc Open Golf Tournament has received VND35 billion ($1.45 million) contributed to the Fund "For the Poor"

According to Nguyen Ky Phung, Deputy Chairman of Thu Duc People's Committee, all funds mobilised will be used to carry out charity and social activities, supporting poor families, people in difficult and vulnerable circumstances in Thu Duc city.

The fund will help people improve their life quality, help pupils and students develop their motivation, spirit and conditions to study and have a better life and help local authorities upgrade and renovate technical infrastructure in the area. All of these efforts are improving the quality of people's lives and building a better city with the slogan “Civilisation - Modernity - Lovely".
