Herbalife Vietnam was supporting the VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2022 to promote active lifestyles in the community.

The event was held in Khanh Hoa province from August 26 to 28, attracting about 8,700 athletes and tens of thousands of tourists.

Vu Van Thang, general manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia said, “As a nutritional sponsor of the VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2022, we would like to continue highlighting the importance of regular exercise in combination with balanced nutrition for people to lead healthier lives. It is encouraging to see that publicly run events are increasingly popular with the public in recent years, and we’re very proud that our independent members have always been among the passionate runners.”

Thang added, “I hope that regularly organised sports and physical exercise events will inspire more people to start adopting healthy, active lifestyles, to have better physiques, and achieve long-term wellness goals. I would like to congratulate all the participants who have finished their runs and believe they have had great experiences at this event."

Participants of the marathon were able to choose from short, middle, and long distances (5-42km) for male and female, as well as professional and amateur, runners.

The 5-21km tracks were running almost alongside the beach, along Tran Phu street, while about 65 per cent of the marathon track hugged the coastline, and the remainder was in the inner city along the Quan Truong River. The routes also took participants past famous landmarks such as the Stone Church, Ponagar Tower, Tram Huong Tower, Hon Chong, and Nha Trang Observatory.

This year, the marathon has organised large-scale running events in Hue in April, Quy Nhon in June, Halong in July, and Nha Trang in August. The running tracks of each tournament were designed to enable runners to enjoy the beautiful local coastlines.
